Amber “ling” Maready
If there is work to be done, Amber is chasing it. She loves getting her hands dirty and doing what she loves: conservation work!
She works day and night to develop new avenues for driving conservation to local communities, schools and groups. She loves all aspects of the ocean. She loves the beach that surrounds it, the sounds that come from it and the creatures that call it home. She believes that her conservation work is in vein if not shared with the generations to come. So, she spends her time sharing what she knows with children and adults of all ages to plant the seed of conservation with all those that she meets.
taylor maready
Taylor was born with saltwater in his veins. His love for the ocean began with beach bumming as a kid, along with surfing and now includes just about anything that has to do with the sea, especially the life that lives within it. As a young student, Taylor struggled sitting in a classroom because the open ocean always seemed like a much better place to be. After his studies, he wanted to make his love for the ocean a real lifestyle. If Taylor is not in the water, he is in local schools educating kids who cannot make it to the beach. Taylor is no stranger to hard work. If you ask local kids (or adults) what Taylor is known for, the answer will be simple: the shark man. If there is a chance to study sharks, he is there. If there is a shark visible in the water, Taylor is close by. He has replaced fear for sharks in many people with fact and awe of these amazing fish. Taylor loves the ocean and he knows that the way to protect it is by teaching children and families about it. If they love it, they will also take care of.
